Adaptation diary - weeks of the hell ahead :)

They say that all the great work you should start on the first day of wee, but we started ours on Thursday. Today, when there is an obvious shortage of masters of all profiles, you don't have much of a choice. What would people say, it is, what it is. 

We started with the project of the adaptation of the apartment in 8 hours in the morning.

First step – leave the note that in the coming period, that the apartment, on this and that floor, will be the subject of adaptation and that we kindly ask our neighbors for patience. And of course, you immediately have at least two neighbors that will warn you about the house rules even if we haven't hit with a hammer yet. We are used to it, and we don’t care, we know the house rules. 

First day passed exactly as it should – dust, noise and destruction. As our good master said – we peeled him to the bare skin ( and didn’t peel, when 6 of them rushed in with the hilts, shovels and pickaxes :). Only like this, when you strip out an apartment in which there was no any adaptation in the last few decades, you come to the conclusion – it is good that it worked well.

Plumbing installations almost caused a flood. The electronic installations are completely black. Windows that hang on wobbly bagels and beg God not to be blocked by a strong wind, front door that can be broken with one strong leaning of the shoulders, ceramics that are arranged according to the principle of just letting them be and further not to enumerate.

The next few days were remarkably quiet. We used them so that masters and companies of the various professions take all kinds of measures- exterior carpentry, interior carpentry, entrance doors… Now we are waiting in the silence that has come. 

And that is how we finished our first week of adaptation. To be exact, half of a week :) We still have a lot of work, at least we know that. We do not lack energy and nerves, we have just started with the project. The culmination of nervousness, the end of patience and stretching with the masters to the limit comes a little later.
