Federal Minister and members of the Association of Real Estate Brokers against the 'black market'

Concrete steps were agreed to solve the problem of the "black market" in real estate transactions, including regular meetings to improve the situation in this sector.

In a recent meeting, Federal Trade Minister Amirs Hasičević met with the members of the Association of Real Estate Brokers and members of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

One of the key topics was the implementation of the Law on Mediation in Real Estate transactions, which started in October 2021. Real estate brokers highlighted the 'black market' where properties are still being traded and sold by agents who don't have the necessary licenses for their work.

Currently, in the Federation, there are a total of 135 registered real estate agencies with 177 certified agents.

The Federal Ministry of Trade has established a register of real estate brokers. You can find the register at the following link: https://www.fmt.gov.ba/registri/#/registry/2

This meeting is an important step towards a more regulated real estate market in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Through cooperation between the Ministry of Trade and mediators, we can expect a reduction in illegal activities and better standards and services in the Real estate sector.
