Adaptation diary - week four :)

Converting a two-bedroom apartment into a three-bedroom apartment, Dobrinja

The fourth week means that we will start with nice, quiet work. After the ceramicist finished, a group of painters came in immediately and had a task to visually transform the entire apartment in a few days. Fortunately, there is a central heating, so the drying of the walls is carried out at a fast pace, just the way we like.

At the same time as the painters were working, we brought in the parquet floor with all the supplies (glue, primer, lacquer, acrylic) that we had ordered in the previous week. Is it recommended that it be left for a few days lying to adapt to the humidity of the room in which it will be for decades to come.

After a few days, “first hand” of the painting was done. We always do first and second, I call it final, hand. Between those two hands  there are many more craftsmen of various profiles passing through the property who do not make it a priority to perfectly guard and preserve your freshly made walls.

Before the end of the week, our flooring guys, three of them to be exact, and it didn’t take them more than two days to prepare the flooring and lay the floor. It was the same this time, and right after them came the interior door-setting craftsmen, which we had ordered long ago. Given the trained crew, checked by us the countless times, everything was set up within two hours ( three interior doors).
